The Hybrid is the new model of the older Highlander All Terrain Vehicles fitted with hybrid engine. The older Highlander came with standard petrol engine. The older Highlander, called the Kluger in Australia and Japan due to the presence of the same trim name in Hyundai Terracan series is a crossover SUV. The 2008 model sports a 3.5-liter 2GR-FE V6 engine and a five-speed automatic transmission giving a power of 270 hp.
The hybrid engine which is fitted with the Highlander Hybrid is based on Hybrid Synergy Drive technology from Toyota. This new technology uses the gasoline as well as electric power to run the engine. This leads to more fuel efficiency and less pollution. The Highlander Hybrid was first iintroduced in North America in 2005. It is marketed as Kluger Hybrid in Australia as well as Japan. The 2005 Hybrid was fitted with 3.3 L V6 engine.
Over the yers new improvements have been

Hybrid. Due to go on sale from September 2007, the car features the 3.3 L V6
engine with second generation Hybrid Synergy Drive technology. It also features
the sophesticsted VDIM stability system, making it an ideal offraoder. The VDIM
system integrates the various stability mechanisms such as throttle contriol,
intelligent 4 wheel drive, electronic steering stability mechanism, among a host

Australia, it will becalled Highlander Hybrid. In America, it will still be

When shopping for a new or used car it is important to do your research. Used cars may or may not carry baggage. You ought to study the CarFax reports. You ought to see the mileage the vehicle has and how many miles it is expected to have during its lifetime. It also important to analyze the expected car maintenance for a specific car. If the vehicle owner took great care of the car, has had all the oil changes, you will save on car repairs on a yearly basis. That savings can go towards the purchase of a better vehicle.
This is why we tend to recommend Toyotas. They last a long time, are cheaper to maintain, and are very reliable.
