Pregrs

The Progrs is a luxury sedan from Toyota, meant for the japanese market. The car is a four door mid sized sedan with capacity of 5 passengers.

The ar s equipped with a choice of 2.5L as well as 3.0L DOHC 24 valves VVT-i petrol engine. The car comes with both 2wd and 4wd versions although the 3.0L version comes with only 2wd. The transmission is 5 speed automatic.

The interior of the car is plush and opulent. There is a generous use of leather and wood, quite suited for a luxury sedan. Plastics are of good quality and are not very conspicuous. The instrument cluster is decent with a lot of wood work. The steering wheel is a beautiful four spoke one with a nice blend of wood and plastic.

The main feature of the car is the use of the Navigation Influenced Transmission system, first time ever in a car. This transmission system can automatically shift gears based on differentially corrected data from the GPS receiver.
