Toyota Belta Ractis
The Toyota Belta Ractis is a minivan or an MPV from Toyota. Based on the Vitz platform, the Ractis was introduced in 2005 to replace the old Fun Cargo from Toyota. The unusual name is derived from 3 words, Run, Activity and Space. This, in itself sums up the features of the car, a Multi-activity vehicle with lots of space and good driveability. The vehicle is sold only in Japan. The Ractis is similar to the Toyota Passo, the Daihatsu Boon as well as the Perodua Myvi. The van seats 5 persons. The powerplant of the 2006 model is a 1.3L or a 1.5L gasoline engine mated to 5 speed automatic transmission. There is also an option of a Super CVT-i stepless transmission. Although both the models are available in standard 2wd, the 1.5 model also has a 4WD mode. The interior of the car is spacious with the rear reclining seat which can be used to create a big boot space. Instrument is cluster is neat with the gear stick being a part of the cluster. There is not much change in the 2007 model of the Belta Rectis. It also features the 1NZ-FE and the 2SZ-FE engines, same as the previous model. The transmission for the 2WD 1NZ-FE and the 2SZ-FE engine variants is a Super CVT-i whereas the 4WD 1NZ-FE version has a four speed Super ECT gearbox.
When shopping for a new or used car it is important to do your research. Used cars may or may not carry baggage. You ought to study the CarFax reports. You ought to see the mileage the vehicle has and how many miles it is expected to have during its lifetime. It also important to analyze the expected car maintenance for a specific car. If the vehicle owner took great care of the car, has had all the oil changes, you will save on car repairs on a yearly basis. That savings can go towards the purchase of a better vehicle. This is why we tend to recommend Toyotas. They last a long time, are cheaper to maintain, and are very reliable. |
